GCPj award aims to recognise, celebrate and reward the organisations and individuals for their outstanding achievement in clinical research. The award was started by Good Clinical Practice Journal (GCPj), a reputed magazine dedicated to clinical reseach.

Awards have been presented to winners nominated in 11 categories including Most Successful Global Trial, Clinical Research Professional of The Year, Clinical Research Team of The Year.

6. Most Innovative Patient Recruitment Strategy: Diabetes program for Type II diabetes, PAREXEL International 

7. Clinical Research Professional of the Year: Dr Janice Albrecht, Vice President, Clinical Research Gastroenterology/Hepatology, Schering-Plough 

8. Clinical Research Team of the Year: Premier Research Global Phase 2 CML Study Team, Premier Research Group Ltd 

9. Data Management Team of the Year: Breathe Data Management Team, MDS Pharma Services 

10. Academic Researcher of the Year: Martine J Piccart-Gebhart, Head of the Medicine Department, Jules Bordet Institute 

11. GCPj Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr Alberto Grignolo, Corporate Vice President, PAREXEL Consulting, and Executive Committee Member of the Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI) representing the Association of Clinical Research Organizations(ACRO)
